The Portable Power Generator is available in 3 basic models -
a 12 amp AC version with a 150 watt inverter, and a 12 amp and 30
amp DC version. All base units include a 20 ft., 12/2 cable with a
DC input plug. Battery and module are not included.

The Portable
Power Generator (PPG) is a transportable source of battery power.
This
fully-integrated unit quietly generates DC or AC electricity to run
small appliances such as lights, small televisions, fans, laptop
computers and small power tools.
The Portable Power Generator is designed to be recharged from
either a solar module or an optional AC battery charger. A
controller monitors the charge to avoid under and overcharging the
battery and a meter displays how much charge is in the battery. The
AC model includes an internally mounted inverter that changes DC
electricity to AC electricity for use with most appliances. The
externally mounted rocker switch lets you turn the inverter off and
on as needed. The AC unit includes one 120VAC socket with an outdoor
cover as well as 2–7.5A, 12 VDC sockets mounted in the end panel.
The base unit is
also available in a DC version with two DC sockets for 12V loads and
a high-current DC output version with an additional 30A DC socket
for external inverter connections. The deep-cycle, marine grade
battery and solar module are optional.
The Portable Power Generator never needs fuel, is absolutely
silent, and requires little
maintenance. This portable generator, 73 lbs with a battery, is
housed in a weather-resistant, polyurethane enclosure with lockable
handles for carrying. All you need to do is plug the solar panel
into the generator to charge the battery. Once the battery is
charged, you are ready to go! |
